What happens on our first appointment?
If you are considering therapy and you would like to meet for an initial appointment, then please contact me to arrange a time.
The focus of the first appointment would be on what brings you to therapy and what you would like to focus on; what is the difficulty or the anxiety that made you decide to seek therapy. It is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you might have about our work together and for both of us to get to know each other before we can both decide whether we can work together.
What happens after our first appointment?
Following our appointment you can decide whether you want to pursue therapy with me or not. If you decide to go ahead, then at the end of our first appointment we can book a time for our next session. Some people find it useful to think about it first before committing to weekly sessions, whilst others know straight away that they want to start therapy.
How often do sessions take place?
Sessions take place on a weekly basis, at the same time on the same day and they last 50 minutes.
Our work together can be short term or long term depending on what your needs are. We can talk more about this during our first appointment.
What happens if I cannot attend my appointment?
I would kindly ask you to let me know as soon as possible if you know that you will not be able to attend a session. If you give me plenty of notice then it might be possible to reschedule our appointment. I do, however, require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation, otherwise sessions will still be charged in full.
How much does the session cost?
Currently I charge 60 euros per session for individuals, 70 euros for couples and each session lasts fifty minutes.
Do you offer consultation in other languages?
I am fluent in both Greek and English so therapy can be offered in both languages.
